Our platform is a space for local community members to host and attend unique experiences and experiences. This can range from activities like video game, ping pong or board game tournaments to learning experiences like cooking lessons, crafting nights, knitting circles. You can find everything from unique cultural experiences, like a chance to celebrate Indian Diwali, to everyday experiences like puzzle parties.

Simply create a profile by adding a photo and some information about your interests. Once you have your profile, you can quickly and easily search for experiences near you. Once booked, if an experience is online, you'll be given a link and time to connect, otherwise you'll be given a ticket as well as a time and place to arrive. Once the experience is over, both attendee and host will be asked to review their experience.

Anyone can become a Host, whether you're looking to share you passion, or just a really fun side gig. Start by making a Host profile and completing our verification quick, easy process. Once you have been verified, you can start hosting experiences and getting paid.

Indoor or outdoor, online or in person, the types of experiences you can find on our platform are virtually unlimited as long as they don't violate our Terms of Use (But that's pretty hard to do). Over time, and in different locations, experiences will come and go, so make sure you take advantage of ones you like when you see them. Ultimately, we want this platform to be somewhere you can come to find unique adventures, whatever that may mean to you.

Prices for Hoamsy experiences are determined by the Host, although we do make recommendations in order to keep prices competitive with other hosts and other opportunities in your local area. In addition to the hosts price, we charge a small service fee in order to keep the platform running. We've found that usually hosts prices are considerably cheaper than what a typical night out might cost someone.

Although Hosts have the freedom to create mostly any experience they choose, and host it wherever they like, usually experiences are held at the Host's home. No matter what, the location will always be clearly specified in the experience listing, and you can be sure you will always know exactly where it is :D.

Online experiences are a must these days. Online experiences are hosted through the Hoamsy platform. You will recieve a custom link from Hoamsy that will bring you into online room for a video conference call where the host will conduct the online experience at the specified time and date.

If you can't find an experience you're looking for, feel free to reach out to us with a suggestion of a new experience for someone in your community to host, or host it yourself. We love hearing suggested experiences and actively work to find someone in your community capable of bringing them to life.
